It's fitting that we are shooting sunglasses now the sun is finally here! Stuff magazine approached us for one of their 'choice' photography pages; a feature in the magazine where different varieties of a product are analyzed and rated.
The idea for the sunglasses photography was to have them floating above each other as if suspended in mid-air across the page. This took a lot of careful styling to get them in position, a key skill for a creative product photographer. A useful tool when styling this way is to use fishing wire as it can be tied around the product and removed from the shot afterwards in post production without being too obstructive to the image. The key though is patience, as one wrong move and the whole thing can topple over!
